Everything has Rhythm!
Understanding Time via experiments in Geometry and Music!
Understanding Time via experiments in Geometry and Music!
They say Time started with the big bang! (T=0) and is 13.8 billion years old. Try defining Time and you'll quickly realize that Time cannot be defined without referencing itself, thereby creating a loop.
Time is Time.
Time gives context to everything.
All of creation is 'contained' in Time.
But Time doesn't seem to be contained in anything but itself.
'AboutTime' is about understanding this universal relationship between the 'content' and the 'container' using sacred geometry, unified physics, and music as a lens and building a unified world view.
As it turns out, this is also key to playing the ultimate game of life - making your dreams come true!
The clock is ticking and it's always your move!!
‘The Geometry of Time’ is an interactive workshop exploring the fundamental patterns and principles of creation across all scales of existence in the universe. The workshop uses Sacred Geometry and Music as mediums to demonstrate how these patterns and principles can be understood with the ‘least burden of knowledge’.
Sacred Geometry is often also known as the ‘Architecture of the Universe’. It has its roots in the study of nature and the mathematical principles at work therein. From pinecones and petals to ocean waves and hurricanes to the creation of stars and galaxies, nature seems to be following the same set of rules (like symmetry, spirals, and fractals) for doing everything.
Music is no different. It incorporates the same set of patterns albeit on the ‘canvass of time‘. Rhythm and melody fuse together to create an illusion of a living being that breathes, moves, and emotes like one of us, giving us a ‘mirror’ to see our reflection in it. This also makes music a very fun and interactive way to not only learn these geometric principles but also experience them without having to overload the thinking process.
Through examples, live demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants will experience a deep sense of unification across many disciplines such as (but not limited to) Arts, Mathematics, Physics, Architecture, Technology, Linguistics, and Natural Sciences.
They will also learn to appreciate the simplicity and develop an insight to think differently with a more holistic approach. They will understand the process of creation through experience and how deeply connected we all are to each other and our surroundings.
Abhinav Khanna is a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from IIT Kharagpur, currently based in Pune working as a professional drummer and music producer. In 2013, he co-founded Reverb Sound Studio, Pune, and produced original music independently and also for many commercial projects. In 2017, he collaborated with a Grammy award-winning music producer for an international Jazz album called ‘Recollecting you’ receiving critical acclaim.
Before pursuing a career in music, Abhinav worked in the IT industry for 16 years as a Software Architect, with expertise in Cloud Architecture and Data Science.
Abhinav is also a delegate member of the Resonance Science Foundation based in Hawaii, US which is a global leader in spreading the knowledge of Unified Physics.
