Gargantuan, the black hole from Interstellar

Singularity

Every dynamic system has a singularity at its centre

The universe and I exist together, and all things and I are one.
Since all things are one,
What need is there for speech?
But since I have already said,
That all things are one, how can speech be not important?
…
Behind the divisible there is always something indivisible,
Behind the disputable there is always something indisputable.
You ask: What?
The wise man carries it in his heart.

(Zhuangzi)

One can go on writing endlessly about the heart, yet words cannot do justice to what it truly is.

The heart is the first functional organ to develop in the human embryo (day 21-22 from conception) and the rest of the body is built around the heart.

When we draw a circle with a compass, it is the anchor point at the centre which is the origin of the circle and therefore must pre-exist the circle.

Singularity in sacred geometry is this zero dimensional point (a.k.a. the bindu), the source of all creation.

Circles are everywhere!

From the smallest thing in the universe to the largest, circle is the fundamental organising principle of the universe.

But what is special about a circle?

  • A circle encloses maximum area with minimum circumference.
  • Hence it is also the most efficient shape in 2D.
  • [Question] What about 3D?

The 'Uni-Verse'

The universe is 'one song' that was sounded at T=0 and it is still going on! In all things that flow well, say a movie or a book or a piece of music, the plot revolves around a central theme/point, usually depicted by the title! Infact, the flow exists because there is no ambiguity on what that central point is! This Oneness can be seen in all aspects of reality:

  • Root Note of a melody
  • '1' of a rhythmic cycle
  • Intent of an Action
  • Mission, Mantra, Motto, Resolve of an organization
  • Origin, Center of a shape
  • Number '1' a.k.a. unit in mathematics

'Oneness' Art by Charles Gilchrist

The construction is essentially a bunch of concentric circles and radial lines that seem to become wavy outside the outermost boundary.

The seed of the entire construction is the singular point at the centre.

Charles Gilchrist is on of the great Sacred Geometry artists of all times.

Himan Torus

There is a physical place inside your heart that has a singularity. Your heart has a little cavity between the two ventricular, and that little cavity has the highest electromagnetic field of your body, and can be measured up to eight feet away from you; and that's the battery of life that keeps your heart going. When you die, that singularity is no longer present, and I think that is why there is

Concentric Torus

All spiritual traditions aim to connect with the expansive nature of the singularity within.

Deeper you go in, more stillness you find.

More stillness you find, more you resonate with stillness everywhere.

More you resonate with stillness everywhere, larger is the connect with the universe.

How many spheres can you pack around a central sphere such that each sphere touches the central one?

When packing together spheres of equal size so that they touch each other tangentially, geometric patterns emerge.

How many spheres can you pack around a central sphere such that each sphere touches the central one?

[Answer] 12. 6 around in a plane, 3 on top and bottom. A.k.a. '12 around 1'

If we connect the centres of all 12 spheres to the one in the centre, the resultant geometry is called a cuboct

Torus

[DRAWING]

All flow in the universe is around a singularity and follows the torus topology in some way or the other.

When multiple circles pass through the same point, it gives the top view of a Torus. Here the Torus is constructed using '12 around 1' configuration.

Torus is also the shape of a donut with a singularity at its centre. It depicts the geometry of flow of self-awareness as all points pas
